Alberta TrailNet, Alberta

Alberta TrailNet Society, a non-profit charitable organization, serves as Alberta’s provincial trail council. Our mandate is to foster the ongoing development of the Wild Rose Trail System, which constitutes Alberta’s provincial trail network. This includes overseeing the implementation of the 2,987 km Trans Canada Trail in Alberta. We collaborate with trail supporters, operators, provincial trail user associations, municipalities, and the provincial government to advance trail projects throughout the province.

Each year, Alberta TrailNet acknowledges an outstanding volunteer with the Trailblazer Award, recognizing their exceptional dedication to trails. Our organization has also received public acclaim for its contributions to trail development on multiple occasions.

Saskatchewan Trails Association

The Saskatchewan Trails Association (STA) was incorporated in July 2004 with the mandate to promote the development and use of recreational trails throughout Saskatchewan. The STA was created through a stakeholder process led by the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA).

The STA would be glad to hear from you if you have any concerns, questions or news about the TCT or other trails in Saskatchewan.
