UCI World Cup competitor Kate Weatherly is 100 percent that racer. She has been since her first race.
“I did my first race and came dead last,” Weatherly remembered. “That was my racing career for the first couple of years. Racing to come in not last. I had a real drive to do better and better, and I realized I have to do everything I can to beat them.”

Isolation requirements could end this month for some visitors to Manitoba, bringing the province in line with most others.
The next phase of Manitoba's COVID-19 reopening plan, tentatively planned for June 21, could drop the province's mandatory 14-day quarantine for people coming from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, northwestern Ontario and all three territories.
Gathering sizes could increase to 50 indoors and 100 outdoors in Phase 3 as well, Premier Brian Pallister said at a news conference announcing the draft plan on Thursday morning.

The City of Iqaluit is reopening recreational facilities in stages amid Covid-19.
The Aquatic Centre will offer limited access to pools at first. The fitness centre and studio are due to reopen during the second phase of Nunavut’s Path reopening plans. There are no confirmed dates yet for these reopenings.
“However it is expected that the facility will be opened at limited and/or altered capacity in early July,” read a City of Iqaluit press release issued Thursday.

On April 29, Rim Rock Resort in Banff, Canada shared a video of bears to its Instagram feed. Obviously, bears in Canada are quite common, so you wouldn’t think anything special of the post. But one of the normally brown-haired grizzly bears looked different from the others: It was totally white.
According to bear biologist Sarah Elmeligi, who spoke with local outlet The Star, the white grizzly bear is a rare animal. A typical grizzly bear is a type of brown bear that is very large, with a coat that generally ranges from light tan to dark brown. They have extra-long claws and a hump near their shoulders to provide extra strength for digging.
